Moving Forward Together: Join Us!

Measure C is a sales tax that we all pay, first passed in 1986 and renewed in 2006. The $3 billion in revenue collected to date is supposed to be used to fix our roads, improve our transit, and ensure our kids can walk safely to school. Instead, millions have been spent on highways, freeways, and building new roads that have failed to connect neighborhoods and people to where they need to be. Over the years, politicians and their donors have backed too many projects that create sprawl, increase truck traffic and pollution, and hurt our neighborhoods and health.

The current Measure C plan expires in 2027. We have an opportunity to move forward together and develop a better Measure C. The best way to ensure voters renew Measure C on the ballot in 2026 is by ensuring it is shaped directly by taxpayers and reflects the everyday needs and priorities of residents in Fresno County. We can create a better transportation future for all of us.

Our campaign, Moving Forward Together, is focused on building a prosperous, inclusive, sustainable transportation future for Fresno County. That means better roads and more reliable public transit options, especially for the county’s overlooked rural residents. It also means more bike and pedestrian paths, safer lighting, and more.

Our county’s transportation future will not shape itself, and we certainly don’t want to leave it up to just a few politicians and special interest groups to decide for us.
