These Terms and Conditions are effective as of August 19, 2026.
Fresno Building Healthy Communities is a 501(c)(3) public charity. We are glad to have you as part of our community. The terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) on this page govern your relationship with Fresno Building Healthy Communities (“Fresno BHC” “we,” or “us”) as well as your use and obligations related to this Site, Fresnobhc.org (“Site”), and any related websites (“Sites”) of Fresno BHC. By using this Site and any Sites, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please exit the Site immediately. These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically and without prior notice to you, and as such, we strongly encourage you to read through this content regularly to stay informed of this disclaimer and any changes to our Terms and Conditions.
Permitted Use
The rights granted to you under these Terms and Conditions are limited to accessing, displaying, and viewing the Site contents. The Site is available as a resource for your personal, non-commercial use, and may not be used as a part of any advertisement, promotion, or other commercial endeavor. You shall not change, tamper, dismantle, augment, misrepresent, modify, duplicate, reproduce, republish, disseminate, or frame any of the content contained on the Site without the express, advance written consent of Fresno BHC. Intellectual Property
All content accessible through the Site, including all logos, text, images, audio, video, diagrams, and maps, as well as the collection, arrangement, assembly, and preparation of the Site’s pages, with the exception of trademarks or logos of third parties, unless otherwise explicitly noted, is the sole and exclusive property of Fresno Building Healthy Communities and is protected by copyright laws. You may not use the Fresno BHC logo or any other content derived from the Site without express written permission in advance from Fresno BHC.
You further acknowledge and agree that Fresno BHC, or its content suppliers, own all right, title and interest in and to all intellectual property contained in and/or used through the Site, including without limitation, any and all patents, know-how, trademarks, service marks, copyrights, rights in passing off, database rights, rights in commercial or technical information, or any other rights in any invention, discovery or process, as well as any other intellectual property rights, whether registered or unregistered, and including the applications for the grant of any such rights and all rights or forms of protection having equivalent or similar effect in each case in the United States (“Intellectual Property”). You shall not acquire any right, title, or interest in or to the Site or any content contained or provided therein.
With the exception of personal information (the use of which is covered under our Privacy Policy), you acknowledge and agree that any communication or material that you transmit to us via the Site, electronic mail, or otherwise, including any data, questions, answers, comments, suggestions, or the like (“User Content”) will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary by us. User Comments
Certain parts of the Site allow users to post and exchange opinions, information, materials, and data (“Comments”) in designated areas of the Site. Fresno Building Healthy Communities does not screen, edit, publish, or review Comments prior to their appearance on the Site, and Comments do not reflect the views or opinions of Fresno Building Healthy Communities, its staff, or affiliates. Comments reflect the view and opinion of the person who posts such a view or opinion. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, Fresno Building Healthy Communities shall not be responsible or liable for the Comments or for any loss, cost, liability, damages, or expenses caused and or suffered as a result of any use of and/or posting of and/or appearance of the Comments on this Site.
Fresno Building Healthy Communities reserves the right to monitor all Comments and to remove any Comments which it considers in its absolute discretion to be inappropriate, offensive or otherwise in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
By posting Comments on the Site, you warrant and represent that:

You hereby grant to Fresno Building Healthy Communities a non-exclusive royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit, and authorize others to use, reproduce, and edit any of your Comments in any and all forms, formats, or media.

Some links on the Site take you to other non-Fresno Building Healthy Communities sites or social media or provide access to mobile applications available for download. These other Sites are not under the control of Fresno BHC, and we are not responsible for their content, actions, or redirection. We take the utmost care to ensure that this site is available 24/7, 365 days per year. We are not liable if this Site is unavailable at any time. We are also not responsible for ensuring your access to, or continuity of, internet connectivity.
Mobile Calling and Text Messaging Program
- By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive automated calls and text messages from Fresno BHC. Calls and message frequency vary, and standard call, message, and data rates may apply. To stop receiving text messages, reply with the word STOP. Text HELP for help. We may confirm your opt-out by text message.
- The Fresno Building Healthy Communities automated phone calls and text messaging program provides subscribers with information, updates, donation solicitations, event invitations, and reminders.
- You can cancel the phone and SMS service at any time. Just email us at info@fresnobhc.org or text “STOP” to any message we send you. After you contact us or send us the SMS message “STOP,” we will send you a confirmation SMS that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive automated phone calls or SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time, and we will start calling and sending SMS messages to you again.
- If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at info@fresnobhc.org.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- As always, call, message, and data rates may apply to any calls and messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive one automated phone call and up to two SMS messages per day. If you have any questions about your phone, text, or data plan, it is best to contact your telephone or wireless provider.

Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions apply to all issues regarding this Site, which shall be governed by the laws of the United States and in the State of California.
