Ballot Overview Workshops This October
Our voices are our power. Show up, get informed, and make sure your vote is counted.
Your November 3 ballot is a long one, and Fresno Building Healthy Communities wants to help you feel ready to fill it out. This October, we are hosting Ballot Overview workshops across Fresno County, with 10 chances to join us between October 15 and October 31.
The workshops are nonpartisan. We will not tell you how to vote. Our goal is simple: every person leaves knowing how to complete and return their ballot, and where to find trustworthy information to make their own choices.
What we’ll walk through together
Bring your voter guide and ballot to get a personalized overview. Together, we’ll walk through:
- What’s on your ballot: Major races and measures, from statewide offices, Congress and the State Legislature to local races, all 14 state propositions, and Measures A, S and D.
- How to fill it out: Mark it correctly, sign where needed and avoid common mistakes.
- How to turn it in: By mail, at a drop box, or at a vote center, and by what deadline.
- How to make sure it counts: Track your ballot and fix a signature issue if one comes up.
Everyone takes home a printed voter guide, available in English and Spanish, with space to mark your choices and make your voting plan.
Where and when to join us
Pick the date and place that works for you. At the two community events marked (Booth), stop by our table any time during the event.
Before you vote
