Community Health Worker Certification

The Farmworker Advancement Program (FAP) supports Fresno and Central Valley farmworkers and their families in building new skills, accessing resources, and advancing in their careers.

One of the key offerings is the Community Health Worker Certification — a culturally relevant training program that equips participants with health education skills, strengthens communication, and connects them to career opportunities in community health.

As part of this certification, participants also receive a $1,100 incentive upon completion.

Who Can Participate

Eligibility Requirements

Work in dairy, farmwork, or packing industries, or be a dependent of someone who does/did within the last 12 months.

Authorization to work in the U.S. (U.S. Citizen, Green Card holder, etc.)

18 years of age or older

Live in Fresno or Madera County
