Interns Build Their Skills
In April, 13 members of the Youth Internship Program traveled to Southern California to participate in the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) 2025 California State Convention.
LULAC’s mission is to “advance the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, housing, health, and civil rights of the Hispanic population of the United States.”
The event was a great opportunity for these young leaders to learn more about advocacy, education, and long-term community development. In May, these youth will attend other training opportunities to sharpen their skills and build their professional portfolios. Stay tuned!
